Terms of Service

Last updated: 18 August 2026

The short version: $9 or $12.99 USD a month after a 7-day free trial that needs a card up front but charges nothing until day 8, cancel any time and you keep access until the period you paid for ends, the stories are yours to read and print at home, and we are a meal-planning and storytelling service — not medical or feeding-therapy advice.

1. Agreement

These terms apply between you and Nibble & Nod when you sign up for or use the service. By starting a trial or subscription you accept them. You must be at least 18 and the parent or guardian of any child whose details you provide.

2. What the service is

Nibble & Nod sends a weekly family meal plan with a grocery list, and — on the Nibble & Nod plan — a personalised bedtime story each night, delivered by email. Meal plans and stories are generated automatically using your family profile and an AI model. We aim for high quality but we do not guarantee that every plan or story is perfect, and we recommend you read each one before cooking or reading aloud.

3. Free trial, prices and billing

4. Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel at any time from your account, including during the trial — cancel before the trial ends and your card is never charged. After cancelling you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not automatically refund partial months, but if something went wrong on our side, email hello@nibbleandnod.com and we will make it right.

5. Allergies, safety and your judgement

You are responsible for giving us accurate allergy and intolerance information and for keeping it current. Always read the ingredient list before shopping and cooking. We are not liable for allergic reactions or other harm arising from incomplete or out-of-date information, or from ingredients, substitutions or preparation choices outside our plans.

6. Not medical advice

Nibble & Nod is a general-purpose meal planning and storytelling service. It is not medical, nutritional, psychological or feeding-therapy advice, and it does not replace care from a qualified professional. If your child's eating is affecting their growth, weight, health or wellbeing, speak with a paediatrician or a registered feeding specialist. Nothing here should delay you seeking that care.

7. Your content and ours

The details you provide about your family remain yours; you grant us the licence needed to use them to generate and deliver your plans and stories, as described in our Privacy Policy. The meal plans and stories we send you are yours to read, print and keep for your own family's personal use, including after you cancel. Please don't republish, resell, or redistribute them publicly, or use them to train or build a competing service.

8. Acceptable use

Don't share your account with people outside your household, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service, or submit information about a child you are not responsible for. We may suspend or end an account that does.

9. Availability

We aim to deliver every plan and story on schedule, but the service depends on third-party email, automation and AI providers and may occasionally be delayed or interrupted. Delivery times are targets, not guarantees.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your rights as a consumer under applicable law.

11. Changes and ending the service

We may update these terms; material changes will be emailed to active subscribers before they take effect, and continuing to use the service after that means you accept them. If we ever discontinue the service, we will give notice and refund any period you have paid for but not received.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections in your own country of residence.
